"Kaos"
This is probably the hardest profile I have had to type up, Kaos is one of a kind!
She came to me as a 4 month old puppy. When talking to the breeder I asked if Kaos was a good name, would it suit her? The breeder laughed and told me I had no idea how much.
Well, it didn't take long to find out!
Kaos is a FULL ON DOG, she LOVES people. She NEVER stops, she bounces off walls from morning till night driving us all mad!
Sadly Kaos doesn't like other dogs much. She has attended obedience for 2 years and is getting better with other dogs, she now comes to work every day and is around dogs all day, so I am hoping with time, she will get over it!
The one dog she does adore is her big brother, Atlas.
I have never seen such a change in a dog, as I do in kaos when she meets a child. One minute there is this dog, jumping and yelling at anyone who ignores her (she is always telling me off for not patting her!) then when a child is in sight, she will sit down, roll over and lay for hours with them. My 4 year old niece loves Kaos and often remarks how she "is sitting like a real person!"
Poor Kaos hasn't gotten around as much at Atlas, she has stared in one calendar for Orange Dog club and that's it!
One day, when/if she ever calms down, I would love to get her into nursing homes and hospitals. At the moment she is just a bit too wild.
She is very much a people dog, and has often dragged me over to strange people while out walking.. just to say hello!!
As I said above, she has been doing obedience for 2 years, and STILL cant stand still for a Stand for Exam, I have to kneel next to her and hold her to keep her rolling over for a belly rub!
She is very much a water dog and it is impossible to do anything around the yard with her out!
Here is a You Tube VIDEO of her after a few days of rain...
The biggest thing that amazed me with Kaos is when we moved from NSW to WA and back again, we drove and spent 4 days in the car each way (one day we drove for 18 hours) Kaos sat in her crate, and did not make a sound! she totally loved being with us and the first thing she did when we got here, was sit by the car so we could drive again!
During our time in Kalgoorlie, Kaos managed to make it on the front page of the local paper... Looking as crazy as ever!
I want to thank Melissa from Joden Kennels for trusting me with her. Kaos drives me mad most of the time, but I couldn't imagine not having her in my life.
While she has not achieved as much in her life as Atlas has, I still adore her just as much.
